Will the roads to the cape be accessible by June 2021

Hi there

What a great informative site

I am planning on travelling to the cape in June 2021 and with all the late season rain up that way I am wondering if, in your opinion, the tracks and river crossings will be accessible right up to the top

I understand nothing is certain but Would value your opinion

Many thanks Chris

Hi Chris,
by: Katrin

Sorry for my late reply - inbox fills fast and i had accidentally overlooked your email.

By now you have the answer which is yes, but i wanted to add that the late season rains are not that unusual.

It would be rather unusual if the main road at least would not be open to the Tip by June.

It can be different with the tracks, some of which can still be impassable in June, that information is in the full Destination Guide (I know that you have it, thanks for buying :-)

Free Pocket Guide outlines the different months and when the main road to the Tip should be open,

Happy travels in June :-)
