Great for fishing, photographing and relaxing,


... or trying to spot a crocodile.


There are mangroves, so remember mosquitoes and sandflies.

The Track In

The track in is south of Lockerbie,

 


... nothing hard,




... a few little creeks,



... and gets a little sandy in places.


  
Before you get to the Larradinya mouth,



... you come to a spot high on the riverbank, great for fishing and crocodile watching.



The track continues to the creek mouth,




... there are beautiful colours on a sunny day.

Bright blue waters, bright blue skies.





Mangroves, sandy beach,




... plenty to take photos of.



If you stroll in behind the mangroves on your side of the creek, there are lots of nice shells, too.



It's a great place for fishing,




... relaxing ...



... and looking for crocodiles.

The Back Way to Punsand Bay

On the track in here, there is a turnoff to a track north.




It will take you the back way to the northern part of the road to Punsand Bay.




Near-by are the sites of the old Holland family slaughter house and a WWII rest camp.




After that the track gets slightly hilly, before it comes out to the main road to Punsand Bay.
