Hurricane Karma Waters Road

It would be a shortcut between BDR in the south,


... and Mulligan Highway in the north, 


... if it wasn't cut off at Bellevue Station.



The start of it is the same as the road through Kondiparinga.



In the start,



... the road is flat,



... but gradually starts turning a little hillier.



Then you come to the turnoff of the Kondiparinga Mt Mulligan Road,



... at the turnoff to Cooktown Crossing.

After Cooktown Crossing Turnoff

The Hurricane Karma Waters Road road continues west,



... and soon, you cross the grid to Hurricane Station.

Through Hurricane,



... the road is mostly wide,



... and reasonably level.



A few grids,



... a ford ...



... that gets wet during the wet season.



It starts gradually get hillier,



... as you pass the homestead,



... and soon after, you come to the gate to Karma Waters Station.

After which, the road continues getting narrower,



... and the landscape gradually hillier.



You soon drive past a dam,



... and then the homestead.



More grids,



... some cattle,



... and it gets even hillier,



... and soon,



... you come to the St George River crossing.

It is dry late in the dry season,



... and soon after,



... you pass Groganville,



... and the turnoff to St George Outstation.

The Hill and the Monument

Soon there is the final hill,



... with a Palmer River historical marker,



... and right after, the gate of Bellevue Station.

Bellevue Station closes this road through,



... the other end of which is on the BDR.



That end is flat,



... and passes through a few gates,



... before getting to the locked one.
