MOON RISE OVER THE LONG ARM REACH AT ISABELLA CREEK
"Hey Harry wheres that cold beer "yells Charlie at 5pm every arvo much to Harrys regret he cant catch the two mad Germans in the Yankee camp next door napping to grab a D9 DOZER.
The dozer being the only tool to dig a two meter deep hole in the back creek at camp Isabella.Of course he also knows the crazy Frenchman driver has the keys always in his top pocket. What to do?
Well this time a call comes up "you guys my name is Sue and i'm the Wee Colleen best dancer ever"comes a rejoiner to Harry's mornings."Were off to do a show!"
That's it the five insane hot beer drinking sheet metal worker Irish lads grab at it with joy."A show hows dat "yells Lonnie.
Denni the leader grabs Sue and Harry with a few odd tools, cutters and three flangons of finely mixed "Pencil Cedar brewed bush Scotch and Jimbo" jump start the landcruiser (battery dead now for 7 weeks)and sets off to Yankee camp to get the D9
Wow says Sue im guna be a big star with my Bush Dance Expo in the moonlite down on Isabella Reach Creek.
That about nailed it two totally drunk Germans singing and a clapping memorised by sues fancy steps and the Frenchman.Well hes induced into his normal daytime Nip on Nip(real time dozing off job) of drinking scotch gets out cold, his best book still on his lapp!
Denni got the keys Harry brings up the rear with a few shovels and ropes and the boys dragging along with a dozen large heavy nylon sacks, "these yanks they leave good gear eveywhere whispers Lonnie". Sue does'nt care shes grabbed Maurices Famous french cook book in the raid.
The rest is simple really a giant ramp taken down into the creek bed and a two meter deep dugout loaded with layers of nylon sacks all connected to ropes and a few pulleys completes Harry's Koolgardie Safe.
"Cold beers forever you promise" yells out Charlie the Sawyer at five sitting there counting to ten on two hands (his evening prayer after a day on his 800mm saw blade)
And yes dear reader the crazy Frenchman will find his D9 close by to the
Yankee camp, not that strange for a Nip by Nip dozer driver who has no bossman.
Anyway as for the cookbook Sue writes up a few pies and casseroles a top
junket desert and just happens to vist yankee camp to borrow a" lump of lard" to put the book on Maurices lapp still dozing the next day. That's right open at page 125 where she found it "Frenchman's Pie"
Sue calls at five "pie and cold ale anyone"The five o'clock rush its on at Isabella creek"!
authors notes on pix; most a recopied from old color slides by project to SD card and DVD OK
