Since late 2016 I started
doing a little bit of local
businessadvertising
on this
website.
It will never go too far to take over or confuse pages, I
don't have
any plans to place any ads anywhere except in the right hand column to keep
it all neat and tidy.
I started with small button ads, 400 x 250mm, at a tiny price
of
$100/year, and yes
- the price includes an ad on every page of this website
(except the home page where I do not advertise at all).
Shapes and Sizes
In the early 2017 I expanded that to a couple more ad sizes:
Button:
Rectangle:
Vertical Banner:
Skyscraper:
400 x 250mm
400 x 500mm
400 x 800mm
400 x
1300mm
$200/year
$300/year
$400/year
$600/year Yes - all those, already cheap
prices - include an ad on every page of this website! :-)
The size of the above image had to be reduced to fit the page.
That means the actual ads are larger than the shapes above suggest.
I have put the actual
sizes to the side column on the right hand side - so that
you can easily see what size each ad actually is :-)
Designing the Ads So far I have offered the
ad design for FREE, since it hasn't taken me lots of time
to put together the small simple button ads.
There will finally be an
hourly price on the job of designing the ads
- encouraging you to use the ads (and/or logo) you might already have
for your
business (you have to be aware that you have to own the copyright of
the ad - whoever made it for you must have given you the right to use
it anywhere and not just in their own publication?).
The cost of the designing
job will be affordable,
however - just like everything else is affordable on this website. I
have
the approach to not to overprice anything, because I'd much rather have
happy
customers and friendly business relationships :-)
