Hi Everyone,
Cape Melville
is open, below is also the latest on the roads,
and - there is a little update in the rental vehicles chapter
in the Destination Guide.
=============================================
In This Issue:
• Roads and Season
• Cape Melville Open
• Coming Events
• Feedback Updated
=============================================
ROADS
AND
SEASON
It has been a good, busy
season, but with many months still ahead, and the
September school holidays approaching fast, there is still a lot of
adventure left for the rest of this
year.

The roads are all open,
and the weather has not been as rainy as the previous month.
CAPE
MELVILLE OPEN
Cape Melville is
open, after the delay, so now is a good time
to attack it.

Make the camping bookings online, and hurry up, as the spots are
filling and the park will
now only be open for three
months - until 1. December.
A
SMALL UPDATE ON RENTAL VEHICLES
As promised, there will
be no big updates in the Destination
Guide until the 2024 Edition.
But
this small update was necessary, just
some detail in the rental
vehicles' chapter (about which companies allow you to go
where).

It does not mean that you need the latest version of the
Guide. Just let me know
if you are renting a vehicle and I will send you the latest version
(provided you have the Guide purchased within two years).
COMING
EVENTS
So the events
of
the coming month are Normanton Races, Weipa Pig
Hunt, Wallaby Creek Festival and Cooktown Hog Hunt.

Good for you to know if you are around and want to include some of
these in
your trip :-)
FATHER'S
DAY PRESENT
And last but not least - Father's
Day is this Sunday, but it is not too late to get
him a
present!

If you haven't
got one yet, here
is one, and you get it immediately after the purchase :-)

FEEDBACK ALWAYS WELCOME
I really appreciate any kind of feedback on the Destination Guide.
Please let me know if you enjoyed it while planning before the trip, and while using the information once on the trip.
If you get any questions about anything, please feel welcome to contact me.
That's all for this time - happy planning, and happy travels to those on the road!!
Have a great day :-)
Katrin.
