ROAD,
WEATHER AND SEASON
After the excptionally late wet season, the rivers on the main
road are finally going down, but some side tracks
can still be under deep water.

Ashley Pattemore, thank
you :-)
The road is generally ok, as
always this time of the year there are washouts, but
people are getting up, even in caravans.
Just need to slow down, there
is a washout to watch out for near Moreton, where somebody broke their
caravan.

The roads still closed
are Battlecamp, Running Creek, Stracke-Wakooka, and the northern part
of the road through Lakefield National Park.
Others still have the 5T load
limit at this stage: Batavia, Port Stewart, the shortcut
roads between PDR and BDR, and the southern part of the road through
Lakefield National Park.
LOCAL
BUSINESSES OPEN
Local businesses are
starting to open for the tourist season, and Loyalty
Beach
has opened their beautiful beach restaurant.
