So the NPA has opened for travellers - and below are also some other places that opened :-)

NORTHERN PENINSULA AREA IS OPEN

So the NPA has opened for travellers as of midday today, Friday 10. July :-)

Sorry that the wrong-doers have made this needing a mention: These newsletters are covered by the Law of Copyright - the only way to legally spread them is a link to this page or a proper Facebook share. Posting screen shots, downloading photos or copying & pasting text is illegal.

Goodbye to our roadblock at the Jardine River Ferry, the tip of Cape York is now open for travellers!

The local businesses are opening - Punsand Bay has just opened two days ago, Loyalty Beach is about to open, and Croc Tent has been open for quite some time.


WHAT OTHER PLACES ARE OPEN

The other places that were closed until today were Kowanyama and Torres Strait, these are also now open for travellers.

National parks that used to be open only for locals are now also open for travellers. CREB Track is still closed due to Covid restrictions at this stage.
