Hi everyone,
The weather is
definitely warming up, the season is definitely quieting
down, and some businesses
are closing for the season.
Below are the updates on
Vrilya Point; the last events that are still left of the
year; and the
news on the Destination Guide
:-)

In This Issue:

VRILYA
POINT UPDATES
There is
actually not so much news in this update, it is more to clear some
confusion.
There are too many
people asking now, that they hear that Vrilya
Point
is open.

Crystal Creek Bridge 2016
The answer is that the
track to Vrilya remains closed, because of the
Crystal Creek Bridge that is still broken.
LAST EVENTS OF THE SEASON
There are
still a couple of events left this year, in November there are a few
different
races and Melbourne Cup celebrations during the first week
of the month.

Cooktown Races 2014
And in December there
are Christmas Carols in various places including Cairns
(Edmonton),
Port Douglas, Yorkeys Knob and Thursday Island.
DOG BOOKLET WITH THE DESTINATION GUIDE
Also after
a
whole year of getting around on the peninsula with our dog, I have
decided to write a separate
booklet with detail on travelling with your dog/s.

Kenji the traveller on Jardine River Ferry (other
times he swims across :-)
It will be ready to go with the next year's edition of the Destination Guide,
and as in every
other case - will
be available for you even if
you buy the Guide any time before the Booklet is out :-)

FEEDBACK
ALWAYS WELCOME
I really appreciate any kind of feedback
on the Destination Guide.
Please let
me know if you enjoyed it while planning before the trip, and
while using the
information once on the
trip.
If you get any questions
about
anything, please feel welcome to contact me.
That's all for this time - happy planning, and happy travels to
those on the road!!
Have a great day :-)
Katrin.
