Hi again,
I will not bother you with every report in the future, but many of us want to know what the Old
Telegraph Track is doing this early in the season.

OLD
TELEGRAPH TRACK REPORT
Adam Sheppard was quick to send in this report
right after I sent the last newsletter:
Haha just finished it all.
First ones for 2013, the Tele Track
is very hard, Gunshot is not drivable in its original drop ins, also
Cockatoo Creek is impassable at the moment due to the bogg at the
start, and the depth is close to 6 feet.
The first creek is also very
difficult, a winch is needed for the hole crossing, would be handy if
you could email everyone about this, we did not have any info on tracks.
Thank you Adam for the report - now we have first hand knowledge about
what's going
on there right now.
Are YOU out there and have a report?
Send it in!!!
It
will be published on the site
(with your name and
date).
You can also submit photos and
videos, which is very much encouraged! Future travellers want to see
what it looks like.
And it doesn't have to be the Old Telegraph Track, it can be another
place.
Leah Riddle for example just sent this
report on Punsand Bay.
Now for the rest of us, I will give
you a break from the constant newsletters until next time :-)
If there are major changes on major
roads, I will do my best to update you.
However, I cannot ring the same roadhouses every day.
If you have the Destination
Guide, there is a list of
roadhouses with their phone numbers on page 36,
in the chapter called "Check if the Roads Are Open".
All the roadhouses, stations, shops, every
single place that can give
you local info, are also listed, with phone numbers (as well as
opening
hours, prices, etc..), in the relevant chapters on pages about each
place (in Part Three - The Guide).
FEEDBACK
ALWAYS WELCOME
I really appreciate any kind of feedback
on the destination
guide.
Please let
me know if you enjoyed it while
planning before the trip, and while using the
information once on the trip.
If you get any questions about
anything, please feel welcome to contact me.
That's all for this time - happy planning, and, till the next
newsletter if I don't hear from you.
Have a great day :-)
Katrin
P. S. If you cannot see the photo banner in the top of this page, and
instead of links you see url adresses throughout the text, you are
using email software that only reads text.
Consider getting an email account with Yahoo or others that can read
HTML (and
remember to change your email address, which can be done in
the end of
every newsletter.
