Hi Richard and Suzanne,
by: Katrin

Big trip from Tassie and happy times ahead, i am excited for you!!!

Yes Peddell's Ferry and Tour Bus Service can combine such a tour on TI, all the details and phone numbers are in the book on pages 290 and 291, i recommend to give them a ring to see if you need to book it.

The road up is fine this time of the year, this year even smaller tracks are open earlier than last year thanks to the poor wet season.

There are always corrugations in places but other than that you'll be fine.

Glad you find the book and the newsletters helpful - thank you :-)

We are presently at the tip and also travelled from Tassie .
All roads from Lakeland are good - only had hubs in once on the whole trip.
Some roadworks still being done , we did encounter 1 camper trailer with damaged suspension , if you drive to suit the conditions, you will have no dramas.
